LeadAmerica Classroom Grants

LeadAmerica Foundation's Classroom Grant Program is designed for middle and high school educators interested in leadership development for their students. Educators may qualify for a grant up to $500 per individual request to supplement their teaching curriculum.

GRANT DETAILS

  • Grants are available for middle and high school educators
  • Individual grant amounts up to $500
  • Maximum of $1,500 will be awarded to teachers from an individual school
  • Grant recipients must provide LeadAmerica with a written report of the outcomes of the grant activity, including results, samples and other supporting documentation.

GUIDELINES FOR CONSIDERATION
  • Grants must be used to develop curriculum or purchase supporting equipment for activities within a curriculum for use in grades 6 - 12.
  • The activity or activities funded by grants must be used as part of classroom teaching for an accredited middle school, junior high school, or high school class.
  • The activity or activities funded by grants must emphasize leadership in the teacher's chosen curricular field.
  • The activity or activities funded by grants must emphasize creativity and critical thinking.
